Our core services:
Ecologists & developers – we put your ecological mitigation plans into action so that you can fulfil your planning conditions and progress your development works with the minimum of fuss.
We design, construct & maintain wetlands from ponds and lakes to reedbeds and entire nature reserves.
We construct and maintain reedbeds for water treatment and have supported large companies processing food and timber in treating their waste water runoff. We have used constructed wetlands to successfully deal with storm water and to create flood lagoons.
Issues with slow worms, great crested newts, badgers, grass snakes, water voles or domice? Our specialist teams carry out protected species mitigation plans – we aim to make the ecology achievable on site.
JPR Environmental has installed 1000s of metres of newt and slow worm fencing to isolate sites for surveying and development.
For land that is being undercut by a flowing watercourse or is suffering a landslide or slippage, a natural erosion control solution might be suitable.
If you have a site that you need to prepare for development, JPR Environmental can offer the full range of pre-enabling works.
If you have Japanese Knotweed on your development site, don’t panic! We can help to develop and implement management plans for the control and eradication of Japanese Knotweed and other invasive species
We are experienced at working with ecologists and landscape architects with the aim of accurately interpreting biodiversity net gain plans and making them a reality on the ground.
The company has full UKAS accreditation for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, is a member of the Constructed Wetland Association, and is a registered CHAS contractor.
JPR Environmental staff have over 20 years experience undertaking wildlife sensitive landscaping projects and have worked on a large variety of projects across the UK, from large housing developments to nature reserves.
