JPR Environmental is an ecological landscape and fencing contractor. For clients we provide wildlife protection and mitigation services where there is a developmental need or for habitat enhancement. We can also help with erosion control solutions using bio-engineering; water treatment and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS); and the full range of site preparation works from vegetation clearance to security fencing. We offer our clients extensive experience with protected species, wetland habitats and site enabling works.

JPR is a private limited company that has been operating since October 2000, was incorporated in November 2002 and trading as JPR Environmental since 2004. The Company is based in Gloucestershire and works throughout the UK. Clients include the Environment Agency, local authorities, ecologists, housing developers and construction companies.
JPR Environmental is the trading name of Slimbridge Wetland Plants Ltd. The Company has two directors: John Robinthwaite and Elizabeth Hillary.
The Company has achieved UKAS accreditation in ISO 9001: 2015 & 14001: 2015 and is a CHAS accredited contactor. The company is also a member of the Constructed Wetland Association and individual staff have membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
JPR Environmental provides a nationwide service including:

JPR Environmental is a member of the Constructed Wetland Association.
JPR Environmental is accredited within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) having demonstrated compliance with and sound management of current health and safety legislation.
John Robinthwaite is an Associate member (AIEEM) of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
We work closely with other contractors to bring in expertise on our projects including fencing contractors such as Perrett Fencing, specialist tree surgeons such as Leaf Cutters and reed management services from companies such as Clearwater.
Prompt Payment Code:
JPR Environmental is a signatory to the Prompt Payment Code (PPC). The PPC sets standards for payment practices and best practice and is administered by the Small Business Commissioner on behalf of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). The Code covers prompt payment, as well as wider payment procedures.
