The Kites Hill Nature Reserve in Gloucestershire combines both fallow grasslands with native beech woodland which has been designated SSSI. The World Land Trust, which owns and manages the site, are keen to create a number of habitats on the site and gained permission to construct a 300 square metre pond in one of the fields to encourage biodiversity.
The aim of the project was to create lengths of marshy margins adjacent to a SSSI that would provide habitats for the species under threat.
JPR Environmental assisted the client with a major desilting project on this important wetland reserve in Arundel, West Sussex.
Desilting and pond clearance work for Birmingham Wildlife Trust in order to improve the view, and the wildlife habitat areas.
