JPR volunteers for Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust

We had a great evening on Friday at a Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust reception for the amazing project at Hasfield Court Estate. A wonderful partnership project showcasing the restoration of a naturally functioning floodplain and other climate-resilient habitats. The Trust is going to be monitoring and quantifying the carbon sequestration rates and greenhouse gas emissions in the mosaic of habitats that have been created.

JPR offered some volunteer help in the summer with the tree protection fencing – the guys really enjoyed their time there (the weather helped!).

We were so happy to be name-checked in the thankyous and even happier to be involved in the first place. We’ll be interested to see the data coming out of this project and how it might inform habitat creation and restoration in future.

It is great to be a part of this forward-thinking Wildlife Trust’s vision.
